G. Murthy Vangala- Founder, Neovista Soultions, LLC

After receiving a Master’s degree in engineering, Murthy made a name for himself over the course of a 20 year career with AT&T—first with Bell Labs, then AT&T, then AT&T Broadband (now Comcast).  During this time he also completed the Senior Executive MBA Program at Columbia Business School.

Murthy’s 20 year career with AT&T and AT&T Broadband (now Comcast) has provided him with a multitude of senior leadership experiences within the general scopes of business strategy and operational leadership. Specifically, he was often responsible for overseeing the launch of new businesses and technologies, process reengineering, and business planning and development.  He has led these projects across many different business units, domestically and abroad. 

In short, Murthy’s experience with such a wide range of business operations, leadership, and strategy make him an ideal resource for anyone trying to launch new businesses or grow existing businesses.For this reason, Murthy founded Neovista Solutions in 2003. 

As an expert in the converging arenas of IP services for voice, data, and video services across fixed and wireless infrastructure, Murthy has consulted with and advised many broadband companies and startups.  He helped found Transera communications, and he served as a VP and General Manager for VoIP solutions at Amdocs.  Recently, Murthy has also taken on a role as a managing partner at ANSi Consulting, a Management and Technology consulting company that advises companies across multiple verticals.  Murthy is well known in the telecom and cable industries and participates regularly on several industry panels.

Murthy’s passion further extends to community service and building strong social, political and business ties.  At AT&T, he was the President of the Asian American Association for Advancement (4A) from 1999-2002, and currently serves as 4A’s Chairman for the Board of Trustees.  He is also Chairman for the Board of Trustees for New Jersey’s Volunteer Management Council (VMC).
